They cross the Finnish Gulf on a dark night, sometimes right under the nose of Bolshevik patrols. Other men make a speciality of dashing across the ice in little sledges drawn by small, fast-trotting ponies, horses, sledge, and passengers all together being cover- ed by a white sheet.

It must be said that some blockade runner undoubtedly work also for the Bolsheviks, bringing back from Russia Cominunist propaganda, and those mys terious agents who come and go in the offices of the Third Internationale in Moscow.
