MARTIX-STEWART.

A wedding of great local interest was solemnised at St. John's Cathedral, Hongkong, yesterday afternoon when the Hev. Ernest Williant Lunn Martin, sou of the Rev. Canon and Mrs. Martin of Durham, was married to Miss Kathleen Louisa Stewart, daughter of the late Rev. B. W. Stewart of Fakion.

The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. B. G. Stewart, acting Principal of St. Paul's College, wore a beautiful dress of lace with Irish lace veil, the gift of her aunt, Miss Stewart of Monkstown. She was attended by one Bridesmaid, Miss Edna Atkins, who wore a dress of bian Georgette trimmed with pink charmeuse and hat "to match. Mr. A. E. Martin was best man.

After the ceremony, a reception was held at Bishop's House. St. Paul's Col- lege and in the beautiful garden attached to the house, Mrs. Edkina kindly acted as hostess and amongst the guests were: Sir William and Lady Brunyate, the Ion.
