The alterations in the Rules are as follows;= I. That on and after May 1st, 1921, the weight of the ball shall not be greater than 1.62 (avoir.) (29Jwts, and the size hot less than (1.62 inx (16 inches) in diameter. The Rules of Golf Committee and the Executive Committee of the United States Association will take what- ever steps they think necessary to limit the piwer of the ball with gard to distance should any lull of greater power be introduced, and that the Rules of Gall be amended accouplingly.

That in order to unify the penalties for & out of bounds and an unplayable ball, the penalty
