the extri duties, I take it, it is not the intention of the Goverumbat to alter its policy; in other words, the policy of the freedom of the port is maintained. When those duties were first, imposed, it was understood that passengers landing in this `port should not be molested by searches, as this would mean a large in orease in the number of port officers, and the freedom of the port would be inter Fered with. I take it the old policy will be maintained in connection with the now duties.
