The health of the school was good, though an epidemic of measles caused a decrease of almost 50 per cent in the attendance of certain classes during Jan- uary and February. The ressil of the 5th Championship- erat for racing yachts took place, on Sunday, over an 8 mils course, viz., Channel Rock (P.). Cust Rock Buoy (E), Onter mark-boat on Line (P.), Channel Rocks (P.), and Cust Rock Buoy (P.) with the results given below.

The wind was very variable and-at all. times light; calm patches at Cust Rock Buoy on the first round and at Channel Rocks on the second enabled the yachts behind to come up on the leaders, upset- ting the final positions.
