In the Club team, Gerrard took the place on Tonkin. Kuhr started the game for the Club, who were set to face the sun. The exchanges opened even and midfield play followed. Early in the game, Holdman, of the Wilts, had to leave the field and remained off during the remainder of the first half. From a breakaway by the Club, Goldenberg sent in a long shot from near the tonch line which Trivett cleared by kicking to touch. From the throw-in, Amor went down and forced a corner of Gerrard. The Wilts winger placed well. and Railton headed out. Menhan returned with a low shot that missed by inches. From the goal kick, Warren came in and tested Rodger with a fast shot, the goalkeeper clearing Keeping up the pressure. the Wilts crowded round the Club goal and McPhail had the misfortune, to handle in the penalty area. Amor took the sick and beat Rodger, thereby giving the soldiers the lead after fifteen minutes play. The Club assumed the aggressive, but were unable to "make any impression. The Club strengthened their position in the Hongkong FC Rugby Challenge Cup Competition on Saturday when they den How Fan, feated the Army by 11 points to 5.

The game followed the soccer match. and the stand was comfortably filled when the game started at 4.45 p.m.-

R. Dick came into the Club XV., in place of H. Rouse, otherwise the teams turned out as chosen. The Club soon gained the advantage, and early Mocrin mara opened the score for them, touching down well out. Wallace Failed to convert from a difficult angle. Smyth did a nice run for the Club.
