"Car CAPTAIN JR. DEVEREUS. } The whole organisation known as the British Industries Fair really consists of three separato Fairs, one at London, ona at Glasgow and one at Birmingham THOL London and Birmingham Fairs ran, concur rently from the 31st Febuary to the 4th March whilst the Glasgow exhibit opens on the 28th February. The visitor will experience littla. difficulty in going from one Fair to the other since Glasgow, Birming and London are linked up by train services whose ex cellence is not surpassed anywhere, Each of these Fairs represents a special group of industries and no industry is per mitted to exhibit at than one section

morn of the Fair. The stranger need not be under the impression that by going to Glasgow or Birmingham he will see a repetition": show of any wares exhibited at London; all three Fairs, cover series of industries which are distinct in every detail. Only British goods are exhibited and no manufacturer is al lowed to place on show any kind of mer chandise which has not been made in his own factory.
