The following information is given by a correspondent in the Peking Daily News :- It is common knowledge that Chinese labour is cheap, but few can tell the exacs rates of wages in the different industries. The latest odition of the Statistical Report of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cammercy furnishes most interesting data to those who desire definite information. Ins set of tables, the number of factories, the number of working men and the maximum and mittimum wages they receive, in gach kind of industry, are given in detail. The following is a brief summary of these tables.
