The Arst interim report which deals with the Increase of Reut (War Restriction) Ordinance 1917, was received by the Govern- ment on June 15th, 1920. The recomisen- dations in this part of the report were:

1. That property owners be allowed to increase renty a once by an amount, which will bring the total rent to 20 per cent. more than the rent as it stood at December aist, 1815
