Mr. L GIBBS, President of the Society in calling upon Mrs. N. J. Stabb to sant for having attended the show. Was not a very grand show, but he was not going to apologise for it. The Society had done its best; the weather had dene its worst. He thought they would agree with him that, in spite of the back weather, the exhibitors had put up very tair exhibits. It was not an easy thing to keep a business of that sort going a there were no dollars in it. It was not like the Hongkong and Shanghai Bank

Laughter). They had to put up with great disappointments and he would ask any people who were not satisfod with the way things were done not to criticize: them too severely. He did not ask them, to refrain from criticism, but be would ask them to do something, to become 12 Tomatoes.-1, Matilda Hospital; members, join the Committee and teach Mrs. Scott Haraston
