ACTIVE.

The V.Y.K. Hamburg liners are report ed to have been able to secure a tolerable quantity of cargo for the return voyage, the principal goods being wood pulp from Sweden, and miscellaneous goods and iron from Hamburg and Rotterdam. The first liner Durban is said to have taken a good quantity of cargo at Hamburg and other ports of call: But cargo for the outward, voyage is very scarce and there is no prospect that shipments from Japan will increase in the near future.
