"In amplification of Reuter's telegraphic summaries of the correspondence of the ex-Kaiser, with the late Tsar, covering the period from 1894 down to the great war, the following extracts will be rend with interest in the Far East:-

In the course of a letter dated from Neues Palace, January 4th, 1999, the Emperor wrote:-

Henry's mission is one of the help and countenance of your lofty ideals without which no sovereign"can exist in promoting civilisation, ie, Christianity in the Far East!
