The deceased was a native of Staffords shire and originally arrived in the Colony in 1912, joining the Hongkong Electric Company, with which firm he stayed till 1917, He was married in August laat, and his wife and her mother accompanied him back to Hongkong. Much sympathy will be felt for the bereased relatie including the aged mother of the deceased who is in England. --

The rice was sailed in three degreen of wind. A moderate breeze prevailed as far as Sai Wan at which point dileen lead the English yachts with Asiama and Westwing fairly close up. Denone was leading the Chinese Rigs with Niobe second and Helen Last Helen lost her advantage when off.
