The Governor'a Shield was won at Faoling on Sunday by Mesars. R. L Moncrieffe, and R. Bruce (Hongkong and Shanghai Banky who defeated Messrs 8. H. Dodwell and A. Bitchie on the sixteenth green by four up and two to play. The Bank couple had an advantage of six strokes in the handicap.

The Ladies' Championship was also played on Sunday, the finalists being Mr Winslow and Mrs. Maitland, the formar winning by six up and Eve to

play.
