The Supreme Council is now taking an inventory of the remnants of the Peace Conference and endeavouring to decide what questions will probably be left un- settled when the Council comes to a close and how it shall be disposed of. A num- ber of unsettled problems will be left in the hands of the Ambassadorial Commis sion. The Commissions remaining in Paris will have a very, considerable per- sonnel and they will have to deal with a great mass of work incidental with the execution of the Peace Treaty which can- not be transferred to the various Foreign Offices. On the other hand, there is a great mass of matter which has been under discussion by the Supreme Council that is not strictly part of the peace negotiations and com
