ULSTER AND HOME RULE. SIR E. CARSON'S CAMPAIGN.

Sir Edward Carson. addressing the Ulster Unionist Council at Belfast on September and., said, he did. not think the Coalition Government would last. and he was confident that the country would get back somewhere in the near future to: party politics. He did not know what the parties would be, but it was far better for Ulster Unionists not to dwell too much upon what other people might or might not do. but to be quite certain they were prepared to play their part, whatever dificulties other people might bave in making up their minds. Their minds, as he understood it. were unalter- ably made up. (Cheers.) When the war; broke out he ventured to think that the Forganisation of Ulster was as complete as any organisation could be. His object that day was to warn them that their duty was to put their house in order and to get back to their organisations as they existed before the war. (Cheers.) When the war began they threw themselves heart and soul into the struggle for the world's. freedom, and they disbanded the whole of their politival organisation in order that it might be replaced by an organisa tion which would help their men at the front and cast aside all the bitterness that was created by the treachery of putting the Home Rule Bill upon the Statute Book.
