SHIPPING MOVEMENTS.

The R.M.S. Empress of vin nrrived at Manila on July 29th, and is due at Hong kong on August 1st. at daylight.

The R.M.S. Jantengle arrived at Mujr on July 29th, and is due at Shanghai "ow August 1st.

The N.V.K. 88. Iwaliru (Calcutta line) left Singapore for this port on July 29th, and is expected here on August 5th.

The Pacific Mail Steamship Co. 8.5. Colombia left Shanghai on July 29th. for Mauila, and is expected to arrive at this port on August 10th.

The Tenys Mary, reached Yokohama on July 28th and sails on August 2nd for Honolulu and San Francisco, as per schedule.

Tac Liverpool Mare, which sailed for Marseilles yesterday, took away', 598 Czecho-Slovak soldiers

The s.s. Colonbia will omit the call at Kobe on her homeward voyage in view of the quarantine regulations against, Shang- hai by the Japanese authorities.

The Shingo Maru, which arrived from San Francisco yesterday, has reported the death of one Japanese while on the voy- age.
