ING VARION THE CLYDE.
The Vinny Gagrete bears of very good authority that the P. O Company bave parshad the Linthouse shipbuilding yark on the Clyde belonging to Mesera. A. Stephens & Sous. This is one of the unst faturas shipbuilding yards on the Clyde and its acquisition should mean the P. & 0. being possessed of boats of the most modern type. most of the P. & O. boats were built by Unird & Co., Greenock, whose yard in fact was practically monopolised by P. & work. This sard has now been acquired by Harland and Wolff, who have madebis extensions.
