Lieut. Bell-Irving (Acting Captain), attached to the Camel Corps, formerly of Messrs. Jardine, Matheson & Co., Shang- hai, is mentioned in General Sir Edmund Allenby's despatch published in the Lon- don Gazette of January 21st, 1919, for services with the Egyptian Expeditionary Force.
Dr. C. E. Lim, a graduate of Hong. kong University, at present attached to the Peking Central Hospital, has been awarded a Fellowship under the Rocke- feller Foundation of the China Medical *. Board at New York. He intends taking up post-graduate studies at the Johna |Hopkins University.
