“THE_MUNGKONG DAILY PRESS, TUESDAY, MARCH ATE, 1919.

The mail dispatched from London to Hongkong via New York on 20th Dearmber last was received to-day in badly damaged condition It was accompanied by the ollowing report from the Seattle Post Office:--

“This mail was damaged by fire and water in Greater Northern train 27 near Morroc, Wash., on January 7th, 1919."

Allied soldiers in the various hospitals in Siberia are badly in nod of reading matter. Any books, newspapers, etc. for their use handed in at the G. P. O. will be packed and forwarded to them free.
