CALCUTTA LINE This Line is temporarily disorganised owing to the war, but at

present monthly service is maintained with Caloutts by the .a. KWAIBANG and "VITIM," Calling at Singapore and Penang. The former vessel has excellent passenger accommodation, ir fitted with Electric Light and Fans, and carries a fully

ualified Särgeon.

SINGAPORE LINE:-The 4* "VAN WAERWIJCK" leaves for Singapore approxi

mately every fortnight. This vessel has excellent accommodation for First-class passengers, and is fitted throughout with Eleotris Light and Fans and also carries a thill qualified Surgeon.

SHANGHAI LINE:-Sailinge approximately every five days between Canton and Shanghai, sometimes calling at Swatow. Steamers on this line bave a limited amount of passenger accommodation, and through tickets can be obtained for Northern and Yangtzse Porte via Shangbai. Through Billa of Lading are leaned to all Northern and Yangtare Porta,

MANILA LINE:--A wookly service is maintained, with Manila by vessels with good

passenger accommodation, sailings from both porta every Friday. HAIPHONG LINE --Bailings approximately weekly for passengers and cargo, calling

at Hoipow when Inducement offers.

BORNEO LINE :-One ulling per month between Hongkong and Sandakan by a

steamer having up-to-date accommodation for passengers,
