Complainant stated that on December 16th he went to a relative's house in Sai Street, and on her return noticed that her purse containing the money was missing. The three prisoners were among the men who were smoking opium in the sitting room at her relative's house, and knew that she had borrowed $2 froin her relative.
Another woman stated that complain- borrowed 82 from her, and put it into #purse, The complainant left the place before the three prisoners.
Lai Wing deposed that he had known the three prisoners for about a year. He met them one day at the Ko Shing Theatre, and they asked whether he had any money. He replied that he had 1. and they proposal that he should buy opium. He agreed and afterwards they all went to No. 8, Sai Street, and smoked opium Complainant came to the house later.
