Delegate of the Administrative Commit Lee of the Military Hospital being pre- sent, Tenders will be received by the Com. mittee referred to in Article 40 of the Regulamento de Fazenda dated Octo- ber 3rd, 1901, for the supply of the articles mentioned in the list below, for the use of the Military Hospital of the Colony.
RULES TO BE OBSERVED.
The Tenderers, or ducir legally autho rized attorneys, must band to the Presi- dent of the Committee, not inter than tho day and hour above fixed, their Tenders, enclosed in spated envelopes, written in Portuguese and according to the follow- ing form:--

Each Tender must be accompanied by 20 per cent of the total price of the articles the touderer proposes to supply, which 20 per cent. will be returned as Boon. As the supply is made.
Pinin furniZDYO, without ornamente, will be preferred. Iron articles may be of white colour; enameled or pamted with Ropatin. Persons not offering guarantee of bonesty and competency may not be admitted to tender.
The Committee may not contract the supply of the articles, when the price asked is much higher than the market price.

AN UNOFFICIAL MAJORITY. POPULAR ELECTORATE. HON. Ma. P. H. HOLYOAK will preside.
The following Resolution will be sub- mittod:-
"That this Public Meeting of Hongkong residents, whilst affirming its unswerving loyalty to the Crown and Empire, is ur opinion that the instructions to His Excel lency the Governor relative to the mude of selection of the Legislative Council require amendment in such a way as to secure:-
1. That in regards all the unofficial tombers of the said Council tother than the two Chinese nomination members) the principle of election instead of nomination shall be 33 applied.

2. That the auther of unofficial members shall be increased from 6 to 9, and that the number of official neuters shall remain as 33 at present, namely, 8:
