The mail dispatched from London to Hongkong via Sues on September 11th, 1018 was lost at sea through enemy action. It consisted of one bag only containing ordinary correspondence and 26 reg stered articles marked "via Suez," posted between the morning of the 7th and the morning of the 11th September.
