PAKING, December 4th. The advice tendered by the Allied Ministers on Monday afternoon kas pro duced excellent results, dismaying schne and encouraging others. The President, convened a conference of Tuchung and of the Cabinet, which considered the Allied Note and also a telegram from the Canton Government suggesting a peace, conference at Shanghai, following the 1911 precedent. The meeting agreed to join the South in conference.
In order to remove the Foreign Diplo mats auspicion, the Tuchuns have sulkily consented to return to their posts.
The formation of the Cabinet and the reduction of troops has been postponed in the meantime.
