3.10 p.m. Field Marshal Sir Douglas. Enig re- ports: We further progressed last even- ing, and at night-time in the neighbour
hood of Selency, and at Gricourt. The enemy counter-attacked
several times, twice in great strength north of Gricourt, and was repulsed on both
occasions.
