When payments for Bonds were made the Receipts had to be Stamped in two places with "the Bank Special Receipt Chop and the Signature of the Bank Agent also affixed to the Receipt. After the Bub scription was losed it was found that certain blank Receipts marked YING" () which had been given to the BANK OF CHINA, Kongmoon Agency, had not been returned, the Agent explaining that they had been LOST in Local Disturbances.
