POST OFFIOR NOTICE

Information has been received from the Director General of Posts and Telegraphs, Tokio, tunt on and after 1st April, 1918, the Pet Office of Japan will collect a demurrage charge from the addressees of parcels on which customs duties, or inland taxes are imposed in Japan, not withdrawn from the Post Office within 20 days from the date of the notice of their arrival to be sent to the addressees.

The amount of the charge per parcel is fixed at 6 sen per day after the expiration of the period stipulated.

The parcel post service to Szechuen province has been resumed for ordinary parcels only.
