British Reuter's Correspondent at Headquarters states:-Between St. Quen- tin and Polygon Wood there were six enemy raids on Friday night, also two enemy attacks.
The particular features of the raids were the intensity of the enemy barrages, the promptitude and volume of our own

Never theless, the enemy carried the post and pressed on to the company headquarters, where & counter-attack, organised by a bore platoon commander, irresistibly down upon the Germans, who were scat tered like chaff.
