THEFT OF A SINGLET.

A Chinese pleaded guilty to stealing a woollen singlet from Holte Wharf, Kow- loon, on Friday

Inspector Gordon said that defendant was soon to extract the singlet from a broken oase containing singlets and hid if underneath his jacket. On counting the number of singiets in the broken case it was found that over thirty Wexa missing.
