BY C. HAGBERG WRIGHT,]
What will huppen in Russia! No one can say with any certainty. The domin ant fact of the situation is this--Now Russia is a land of visionary thoughts. That is not in the least surprising. For centuries the Russian people has been stifled and depressed. It has had no voice in public affairs; its life has, perforce,
and sabterraneously developed reptitiously. Within the last few weeks upheavals in every part of the Russian fland have brought to light that obscure and silent work. During the days of repression Russia's life was not station ary. There was real growth, but ciroum: stances made the growth Utopian. Within the established order men found no scope for their thoughts. They saw fio possibility of making that order plastic to their thoughts, or of bringing about] a new order wherein their thoughts would be at hore. What happened? This hip pened. The thoughts which could no become practical onergies in policy of principles in reconstruction went out towards. abstract moral conceptions, Because there was no place for these thoughts in the real world around them they grew upwards towards Dreamland. The predominant facts of Russian life divorced Russian thoughts from Reality, and the thoughts thus exiled into Fantasy New Russin the mind and the hope to-day
When Russia stepped forth from her prison she stepped into Utopia, and ehe has not yet discovered that it is Utopia.

Dear Soldiers,You ought to know that Russin would have concluded peace long ago had it not been for England, but wa want peace-We are thirsting for it. Working men who have opportunity of making their wishes known, are demanding peace. Nobody has the right to say that the Russian workman, is against peace. England has no righ: to say that. Whatever the out some of this evil war, we cannot except any gratitude from England. Therefore we must shake ourselves free of England. This is the demand of the people. This is ita holy will
