The death of Mr. B. H Endicott, the well known stockbroker, of Shanghai, occurred at the General Hospital, Shanghai, on July 8th.
Mr. Endicott was an American citizen born in 1855, and early in life he served on board a sailing ship. Later, he came out to enter the shipping office of Douglas Lapraik & Co. at Hongkong, and after- wards represented the firm at Krelung, Formoen. He left Douglas Lapraik, in 1887 and went to Shanghai. After a few years service with Messre. David Sag- soon & Co. he became a sharebroker and was one of the original members of the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Mr. Endicott married in 1806 the widow of the late Mr. Rogerson, of the Shang- hai Gas Co., and their daughter mar ried Mr. Williams of the U. d. Commer Bervice. Mr. Endicott's mother Mrs. MacGregor (of MacGregor & Gow) is Mrs. Endicata deep sympathy is ex pressed. THE
