WINNERS IN THE HOLIDAY GAMES

During the Easter holidays soveral competitions were played over the Fanling Course.

On Good Friday the event was the pool competition for men, medal play over 18 holes. There were forty-five! entries in this competition, the leading scores being as follow:-

The Saturday and Sunday competitions included a pool, and a "tombstone" compe- tition over 18 holes for prizes presented by the American members of the Club/

The pool competition, in which there were ten entries, was won by Mr. Eldon Porter with a score of 91-9=82.

In the Tombstone Competition, the cup was won by Mr, Golland, whose handiesp was six, and who finished on the edge of the 19th hole. Captain Edwords, with a handicap of nine, finished on the edge of the 9th green. Mr. W. D. Kraft won the hidden prize which was given to the player whose peg or "Tombstone, " ncaret to a selected spot, which disclosed after the round was completed.

The Ladies' Tombstone Competition was won by Mrs. Frank Maitland.
