A TOAST TO THE COMING: REVOLUTION."
Yesterday a Day Press representative had a brief but interesting conversation with a gentleman who has recently arrived in Hongkong from Russia, in which country he stayed for some weeks when en route to Hongkong from Bog land.
About three weeks ago he wagin Petrograd, and, as a consequence of whinh, he saw and heard in the capital during him by no menas as a surprise; his only a week's stay, the revolution has come to
surprise is that the revolt was carried through so bloodlessly, remembering, he does, how great was the revolutionary spirit embedded in the heart of the Russian people as a result of a woefully corrupt, autocracy.

The offending shopkeepers, whose delinquencies hovered between two and five per cent, wore mulet ed on an average $5 each. One of the defendants, however, was caught using scales which went against the purchaser to the extent of 21 per cerit. The Inspec- for glowed with satisfaction at having brought such a glaring case to justice and "justice" was administered in the shape of a 810 fine!
