POST OFFICE NOTICE.

CHINESE NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS.

THR

Tuesday next, the 23rd January, being Chinese New Year Day, the Post Office will be entirely closed.

Thera will be no delivery or collection of correspondence from the Pillar Baxes." Non-Boxholders may, however, obtain their ordinary correspondence on application at the inquiry counter at the South-West entrance to the building. On Wednesday, the 21th January, the Post Office will be open from 8 to 9 a.m., and there will be one delivery and one collection of ordinary corres- pondence as on Sundays.

The Money Order✪ ifice will be entirely closed.

Parti ulars of outgoing and inoming Mails, other than those shown below, will not be advertised in future.

The Post Offios will forwael alt correspondence posted by the fastest routes.

Correspondence addressed to enemy subjects in China, Siam, Liberia, Portuguese East Africa, Persia and Morocco cannot be transmitted.

The Services to Germany, Austria, Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire are suspended.
