In 1912 an old Russian angling friend of mine, Baron T, wrote to me to advise me to get a copy of a German work which was attracting much atter tion in Russian military circles.

It was entitled "Der Europaische Krieg von 1913" ("The European War of tola"). I procured a copy and found that it was a clover description of this present war by an eye-witness who put lished his account in 1912:
