GREEN ISLAND CEMENT COMPANY, LIMITED.

TÖTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING of the GREEN ISLAND CEMENT COMPANY LIMITED, will be held at the Offen of Messre, SHEWAN, TOMES & Co. the General Managers of the Company, St. George's Building, Chater Road, Victoria, in the Caleny of Hongkong, on FRIDAY, the Fifteenth day of Decomber, 1916, at twelve o'clock: Neon, for the purpose of considering and, if thought it. passing as Extraordinary Rolutions the following Resolutions, that is

to kay :-

(1) That the capital of the Company bo rednood from $4,000,000 (Four Million Dollar) divided into 400,000 (Four Hundrel Thousand) Shares of $10 (Ten Dollars) each, to 83,000,000 (Three Million Dollars) divided into 400,000 - (Four Hundred Thousand) Shares of $7,50 (Seven Dollars and Fifty Cents) each, Bal that such reduction be effected by returning to the holders of the 400,000 (Four Hundred Thonsand). Shores that have been issued paid up capital to tho extent of $2.50 (Two Dollars and Fifty Couta per Share and by reducing the nominal amount of each of the said shares from 810 (Ten Dollars) to 87.50 (Soren Dollars and Fifty Cents).

(2).

That application be made to the Supreme. Court of Hongkong to confirm the reduc tion of the capital of the Company in conformity with the foregoing Resolution. Should the above Besolation be passed by the requisite majority, they will be submitted for confrontion as Special Resolutions to a Second ExtBorditary General Meeting which will be subsequently convened.
