A later communiqué states:-There is no change on the battle front.
There was great aerial activity on. Thursday, owing to the improved weather conditions. Many raids were carried out on communications, billets, and stores. The air-fighting has been continuous; thirty of our machines engaged in battle with thirty to forty of the eneiny's machines, the latter being dispersed. Six enemy machines fell owing to their having become, uncontrollable, and nine others were driven down damaged, three of them
·being destroyed. A hostile kite-balloon was driven down in flames. Seven of our machines are missing.
TRENCH CAPTURED.
