LONDON, August 25th An official statement regarding the recent air raid says that an air raider reached the outskirts of London and dropped 40 explosive incendiary bombs. Three men, three women and two children were killed, three men and. four women seriously injured, and four men, seven women and three children. slightly injured. One soldier was seriously injured and fourteen others slightly injured.

An electric power station and an en- gineering work were damaged by fire.

Altogether a hundred bombs were drop- ped.
