Within a week of Hongkong's racing carnival, much interest is being aroused by the frequency of fast times over various

On the Club Ground on Saturday the Kowloon "B" team defeated the Club' "A" XI. somewhat comfortably after a most interesting display.

While the Hongkong team were fielding. most regrettable accident occurred, 28 the result of which Messrs. H. R, B. Hancock und C. A. Hooper re- ceived considerable injuries. Both players ran to catch the ball, and came into violent collision. Mr. Hancock was badly cut above the eye, and his forehead was aleu injured; while Mr. Hooper had several teeth knocked out, his face also being ent. Both players had to return to their homes for surgical attention,
