When entering the Examination station in Junk Bag on Saturday evening tho China Navigation Company's steamer Yunnan went aground. The vessel haf just come dowa from the Yangtazo, laden with cargo for Canton. Yesterday morn- ing tugs and lighters were sent to her assistance, and it is expected that she will soon be pulled off, as she is not seriously aground.

THE FUKOW-SHENGYANG

RAILWAY.

It is stated by the Ministry of Communis cation that the gentry of Kinking havo requested the Ministry that the Pukow Shengyang Bailway line bo changed inte Pukow-Kuachow line in order to develop commerce. The request has been granted by the Ministry. The fund for the con- struction of the line has been estimated at Tis. 1,600,000 and more than Tis. 700,000 have been already raised by the gentry, and it is said that the construction work will be commenced in the middle of the spring.
