A general meeting of members of the Hongkong General Chamber of Commerce was held in the Chamber room, New Government Building, yesterday, to elect a member of the Chamber to fill the place of the late Hon. Mr. E. A. Hewett, C.M.G, on the Legislative Council. There were 113 firms represented at the meeting,
