The application of J. Witchell for the licence of the King Edward Hotel was Branted for one year. The police report, was stated to be satisfactory, and there were no objections by the members.
ALEXANDRA CAFE,
On behalf of Mrs, Jane Howard, who applied for a restaurant adjunct licenco for the Alexandra Cafe, Mr. F. B. L. Bowley appeared and explained that Mrs. Howard was seriously ill. In conse sequence of this, he applied for the licence on behalf of Mrs. Clara Clegg, who had been employed at the Cafe for about a year.
