A telegram from Wisby, on the island of Gothland, off the cast coast of Swoden, states that a naval action was both heard and seen from the east coast of Gothland at 0.30 in the morning. Later, the war- ships were seen steaming northward, but at 10 o'clock four oruisers were fighting a running action near the land.
