It was a broather for the ship that has had more fighting than any other in the British Flect, that has fired pore heavy shells than any ship in the whole history of the Navy, if you can call it a breather to take in 108 tous of coal in the first forty minutes.
After anchoring, the crew, looking like Booty Marathon runnera, engaged in an endless wheelbarrow race as they rattled their trucks to the ship's side over the gritty decks. The Triumph has been seventeen times in action in this war. She has been hit fourteen times and she has fired 2,000 rounds.
In one day's engagement she has used as Thany Tholls as would serve her for peace practice purposes for five years. What the Triumph now knows about bombarding forts and being shelled by them in return would fill a three-volume novel. And you don't get any more used to it with habit," they told me,
The Triumph came from Tsingtau to CHINESE TELEGRAMS. the Levant and there she has had a hand in everything that has been going. The last and most interesting of her adven tures I cannot unfortunately relate, but there, as everywhere, this cheerful, high- spirited ship's company seems to have shown itself, as usual, rather more than equal to an emergency,

The famous Italian writers, D'Annan zio and Ojotti, have visited Rheims Cathedral. They afterwards called og Cardinal Lucom, who has been compelled to leave the Archiepiscopal Palace, and in now living at a spot fully exposed to the
enemy's shells.
The Cardinal stated that after the war the Cathedral would be left in its present state for a whole year, and would be made the goal of a pilgrimage.

An inquest was held recently at Hack Dey bearing on the circular recently issued by the Local Government Board upon the danger of kissing.
