Clerk of the Seales:-Mr. A. Charlton. Starter Mr. H. J. Gedge. Timekeeper:-Mr. M., Sassoon,
There was comparatively small. attendance of the general public at the last meeting of the season of the Hongkong Gymkhana Club, but those who were, presont were entertained with a most interesting programme of a miscellaneous order. The racing was always very keen and one more so than those which was confined to the Indian troops. This being the final meeting of the season, two points events were brought to a close. Vadeem, though unplaced in the actual race for the Gymkhana Cup, ha -run おす well previously that its position in points was unassailable, or the Cup thus passes to Mr. Ferguson. The same thing happened in the tent pegging. Though Liuf.-Com. McGillowie and Lieut. Pope only secured third position in the actual event, their fead of 10 points above Messrs. W. B. Elwes and CC. Clarke was quite sufficient for them to win the season's trophy:
