HONGKONG, JULY 15TH, 1914. THE Orange celebrations in Ireland bare unexpectedly passed off without any us toward incident a fact which we consider beara eloquent testimony to the efficiency of the control exercised over the rivul fighting forces which the acute political

Sir Edward Carson, in a speech at Belfast, said the Government would nover crush the Ulster spirit. Very shortly Ulstermen would recognise only the Provisional Government unless left alone. He emphasised that Ulster would win, because God would defend the right.
