The steamer Tingsang went ashore in the Haitan Straits in November last and unfortunately became a total loss. She has since been replaced, by the purchase in the East, of the str. Yaloong, re-named F. The fleet has been strengthened by the acquisition of the str. Hansang
and a new steamer is also under "con. etruction at Shanghai for the Upper Yangtze, which will shortly be available for service.
