It was an ideal day for pony racing on Saturday the sun was shining, and its intensity was frequently relieved with welcome Fght breeses. As a consequence the attendance was quite satisfactory for a gymkhana meet, those present including H.E. the Governor and Lady May, and Miss May
Generally speaking the racing was good with few surprises, most of the fancied ponies doing what was expected of them. The fields, with one exception-the jump- ing event--were numerous, and apart from this race also, the finishing always created plenty of speculation and excite ment Details
