TASSENGERS AND CREW HESCUED.
HALIFAX (N.B.), January 18th- The Royal Mail steamer Cobrquid, from Bermuda, struck on the Grand Manan Island, in the Bay of Fundy, and has sent wireless messages for help. Govern ment steamers are searching for the vessel, but up to the present have failed to find any trace of her, and she is believed to be lost.
The steamer carried 11 passengers and the crew numbered 90. She had a cargo of sugar.
